Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1966 repräsentiert die Lotus-Fabrik in Hethel das Beste, was die britische Industrie zu bieten hat. Am Standort Hethel wurden einige der berühmtesten Automobile der Geschichte hergestellt, und der handwerkliche Ansatz bei der Konstruktion hat sich bis heute nicht geändert.

ERSTKLASSIGE QUALITÄTSKONTROLLE
Qualitätsstandards sind das Herzstück des Lotus Global EV Production Centre. Im hochmodernen Coordinate Measuring Machine Laboratory werden täglich die geometrischen Merkmale eines zufällig ausgewählten Fahrzeugs präzise geprüft. Über 2400 Merkmale werden ausführlich bewertet, um auf jeder Ebene ein Höchstmass an Qualität zu gewährleisten.

Die einzelnen Karosserieteile werden jeweils aus einem einzigen Stück Metall gestanzt. Im Lotus Global EV Production Centre kommen die weltweit modernsten automatischen Hochgeschwindigkeits-Servo-Panel-Stanzlinien zum Einsatz. Die fünfstufige Vorgehensweise gewährleistet ein Höchstmass an Genauigkeit und Konsistenz bei der Herstellung von Karosserieteilen, so dass jedes Designdetail absolut perfekt ist.
