A Region is defined as a country or market with its own specific regulations for motor vehicle homologation and certification. Based on its warranty guidelines, Lotus classifies the following Regions:

Americas
Europe and the United Kingdom (excluding overseas territories and former colonies)
Russia and Ukraine
Middle East, Africa, and Turkey
China Mainland (excluding Hong Kong and Taiwan)

Manufacturer Warranty Exclusion

Grey Imported Vehicles do not qualify for official Lotus warranty coverage in their new region. Warranty terms apply only to vehicles sold through authorised Lotus distributors within the original market of sale.

Service & Aftersales Support Limitations

Authorised Lotus workshops may not have full access to all technical data, spare parts, or diagnostic tools required to properly service Grey Imported Vehicles.

Repair services may be limited or subject to longer lead times due to unavailable or incompatible components.
Any servicing performed at Lotus-authorised dealers will generally be at the customer’s expense, as manufacturer warranty coverage does not apply to Grey Imported Vehicles.
However, workshop or recall campaigns initiated by Lotus will be carried out free of charge, where applicable.
