The lightweight build and potent engine resulted in astonishing acceleration, outpacing supercars while retaining the renowned Lotus handling finesse. A car that existed within an extremely rarified performance envelope – it offered both hyper car performance and handling.

The Lotus 3-Eleven's sculpted body generated considerable downforce for improved traction and stability during high-speed manoeuvres. There were few cars on the market that could match the 3-Eleven, in looks, speed or lap times.

OPTIMISED DRIVING PERFORMANCE

On the track, the Lotus 3 Eleven thrived as a precision instrument. The 2-way Ohlins adjustable dampers allowed for tailored handling characteristics. Complemented by lightweight forged aluminium wheels wrapped in Michelin Cup 2 tires, the car maintained traction and agility through corners.

A TESTAMENT TO EVOLUTIONARY ENGINEERING

The Lotus 3-Eleven 430 model stood as a testament to evolutionary engineering, but remained true to the company’s edicts, employing a lightweight carbon-composite body and a bespoke extruded and bonded aluminium chassis. Sculpted part-exposed carbon side panels and striking carbon interior panels all contributed to the exceptional light weight.

LOTUS 3-ELEVEN LAP RECORD SETTER

The Lotus 3-Eleven marked its first public outing with a successful two-week test session at the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, in which over 2,000kms were covered as part of a comprehensive test and development programme. The quickest and most powerful production Lotus to date, the 3-Eleven achieved some landmark lap times around the Nürburgring for any class of car and faster than many other supercars.

LOTUS 3-ELEVEN 430

In a fitting send off for the company’s legendary road racer the Final Edition Lotus 3-Eleven 430 retook the title as Lotus’ quickest street-legal sports car. The most extreme machine that Lotus have ever built, the 3-Eleven 430 was the fastest Lotus road car to lap the challenging Hethel circuit, 0.8 seconds quicker than the second place Exige Cup 430, and two seconds quicker than the previous 3-Eleven.
